Stargirl

Friendship-
Even though he won't be popular, Leo still talks to Stargirl.
Dori is still talking to Stargirl.
Archie is really good friends with Stargirl.
Exposition- Stargirl, Leo, and Kevin are the main characters. Stargirl is very different than the rest of the people at the high school. The problem is that most people don't like that Stargirl is different. She cheers for the other team, dresses in bright colors unlike anyone else, sings to everyone, and gives everyone suprise gifts. The basketball team was on a winning streak, but when Stargirl cheered for the other team, they lost. Everyone got mad at Stargirl, but she didn't know. When Stargirl annouces she likes Leo, Leo realizes that he likes her too.
Rising Action- Leo and Stargirl start to talk to eachother and hang out. Leo realizes that the porkupine necktie he got was from Stargirl. A couple days later, no one is talking to Stargirl and Leo. Leo asks his best friend, Kevin, about whats going on. Kevin said that nobody like that Leo is with Stargirl. Leo thinks about telling Stargirl about whats going on.
Climax- Leo tells Stargirl about "The Shunning." Stargirl is very courious why everyone is doing that, but she really doesn't care. Suprisingly, a few days later, Stargirlchanged her appearance and her name. She looked like every other teenage girl at Mica High School. She changed her name to Susan. Since Susan competes in oratorical competitions, she went to the state championship with Leo, and she won.
Falling Action- Leo feels that he wants his friends back, so he breaks up with Susan. Leo doesn't talk to her, avoids her, and doesn't ask her to the ball. Then, Stargirl moved away without finishing out the year.
Resolution- Everyone moves on with their lives and go to colllege. When Stargirl was with Leo, she said she had a secret desk that only one person knew about, Archie. Archie shows Leo the secret desk. It was in Archie's house. It was full of news and things going on. Later, on Leo's birthday, a porkupine necktie arrives at his house.
